Thought I'd post on prayer requests and create a respectable receptacle (ha ha ha, couldn't resist) for us to post our prayer requests for the week. I guess you can either comment to this post, so they are all in one place, or do your own post. Whatever you fancy ...
Also, Tiff, thanks for the thought-provoking questions. I too feel like I need to summarize all the stuff we've been discussing.
My prayer request: that I will be aware of the things God is trying to teach me/tweak in me through this rock-star-awesome study. That my heart will be softened and ready for it and that I will look at each day (or hour, or minute) as a new opportunity to radiate Him. Even if I didn't radiate Him in the last minute.
Love you Noggies.

I'm catching on to this blog thing slowly, so since I know how to comment but not so sure about posting, I'll continue on Rochelle's prayer request post.
I would like prayers as I start back to my job at school next week and it will be a huge adjustment for me, our girls and my husband. Pray that I will be blessed in knowing that my job is doing God's work through my actions and interactions with kids and staff in Newton.
Well, based on how things are going in my home today, my prayer request is pretty easy to come up with! I need prayer for parenting with patience and love, for wisdom in how to discipline and maintain a joyful spirit in our home, the courage to carry out consequences that are as hard on me as they are on the kids (like not being allowed to go to the pool--which is my only time to think straight all day!), and for my kids' hearts to be soft and receptive to what they're told.
I get so tired of repeating myself and being disobeyed, or so fed up with the NOISE, that I end up not being a very fun mother even when things are going okay because I've just "had it up to here." We only have a few weeks of summer left, and I want them to be fun. Plus, I'm more than a little embarrassed to imagine sending my kids to school and having them act as wild there as they do at home (or at McDonald's with their Aunt Beth!)
Thanks, girlies. Just enjoy your little ones who can hardly talk yet... I didn't know how good I had it back then! I think I'll post Sheila's quote on my fridge: "Kids are like little people with CRAZY MINDS!" She was right on with that one. And it seems to be contagious...
Oh, and "Noggies" sounds a little nicer than "Noggers." Good thinking, Rochelle. :)
